Adaptive Rowing Shells

Construction

Swift Racing’s adaptive rowing shells are manufactured using high quality materials and proven production processes, heat-cured under vacuum using epoxy resins, and, unlike other brands, even the lowest costs boats are built with a sandwich construction for maximum structural integrity and stiffness.

Sandwich construction, a method of boat building utilizing an inner and outer skin with a core material in between, is ideal for building stiff but lightweight adaptive rowing boats.

Our adaptive rowing shells are available in Elite Plus, Club A, and Club B construction – offering the perfect combination of performance and price.

Riggers & Floats

Adaptive singles and adaptive doubles come with heavy duty stern wing aluminum riggers to make getting in and out of the boat easier. Our riggers are made from high grade aluminum, welded to the optimum design and hard anodized for a long-lasting finish.

Floats are included when purchasing the adaptive single and are available as an addon for the adaptive double.

You also have the option of adding our Quick Release system for your riggers. These are compatible with both the bow and stern wing riggers for adapting singles and adaptive doubles.

Colors

Standard Boat Color: The standard color for Swift Racing boats is a white hull and canvas decks with black tips for the bow and stern. The hull and canvas decks are finished with 3 coats of UV resistant polyurethane paint and 2 additional coats for the trim to help protect the most vulnerable areas of your boat.

Custom Boat Colors: Boats can be purchased with custom colors for the hull and canvas decks or bow and stern tips. The chart below shows available colors and locations.

Boat Names

Custom names can be added at the factory but must be ordered at the same time as the boat. Letters will be 50mm (~2 inches) tall, in arial font, and can upper and lower case.

Elite Plus Adaptive Rowing Shells

Elite Plus adaptive rowing shells are designed for those looking for the lightest, fastest, and most durable adaptive shell possible. They have an outer skin of kevlar, inner skin of mostly carbon, and a honeycomb core – making them very impact resistant and very stiff!

Club A Adaptive Rowing Shells

Club A adaptive rowing shells are specifically designed to be training workhorses but can still be competitive despite their extra weight compared to the Elite Plus.

They have inner and outer skins of kevlar and a Lantor coremat core.
